Why this one
Why mothers choose this pregnancy laddu
Three honest reasons, not twenty vague ones.
01
It tastes of something
At this stage many sweets can taste flat or cloying. Orange zest and cardamom give this a sharp, fresh finish that a plain dry-fruit laddu doesn't have.
02
Iron with vitamin C alongside it
Dates, cacao and pumpkin seeds bring the iron. The orange brings vitamin C, which helps the body take up iron from plant foods.
03
Nothing you have to look up
No preservatives, no refined sugar, no additives. Every ingredient is listed above with how much of it is in there.

Questions
Questions about this pregnancy laddu
Is this laddu safe to eat after delivery?
Every ingredient is a common Indian kitchen food and the full list is on this page. There are no herbal extracts. Please show the ingredient list to your own doctor, especially if you have gestational diabetes or a high-risk pregnancy.
Will it help with morning sickness?
We can't promise that, and we won't. What mothers tell us is that the citrus and cardamom make it easier to eat than a plain sweet laddu on a bad day. If your nausea is severe or you cannot keep fluids down, please speak to your doctor.
How much sugar is in a pregnancy laddu?
No added sugar. The sugar comes from dates and orange. If you are managing gestational diabetes, take the nutrition table to your doctor or dietitian before ordering.
How much iron does one laddu contain?
About 1.9 mg per laddu, roughly 7% of the 27 mg recommended daily in pregnancy by ICMR-NIN. This is a food, not an iron supplement, and it does not replace anything your doctor has prescribed.
Can I return it if I don't like the taste?
Because this is fresh food with no preservatives, we can't accept returns on opened packs. If your order arrives damaged or short, send a photo on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery and we will replace it or refund you.
Not sure which one to pick?
Message us on WhatsApp. Tell us which week you are in and we will tell you honestly which laddu fits, including if the answer is none of them.

About
About this nourishment
Ragi Laddu also known nachni laddu or finger millet laddus are a nutritious and healthy snack that can benefit everyone. Here's what you need to know:
Benefits:
Ragi is a rich source of fiber, protein, calcium, and other important nutrients that can help improve overall health.
Ragi is also known to help regulate blood sugar levels, aid digestion, and promote weight loss.
The other ingredients used in the laddus, such as jaggery and nuts, also provide important nutrients such as iron, calcium, and protein.
Who can consume:
Ragi laddus can be consumed by anyone looking to add more fiber, protein, and other important nutrients to their diet.
However, people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance should avoid consuming ragi, as it contains gluten.
Amazing Health Benefits of Ragi Laddu:--
1. Ragi has High Protein Content
The grain's protein content is comparable to that of rice. The main protein fraction is eleusinin, which has a high biological value, meaning that it is easily incorporated into the body. There are also significant quantities of tryptophan, cystine, methionine and total aromatic amino acids.
2. Ragi is a Rich Source of Minerals
Ragi laddu is also a very rich
It has been found to have between 5-30 times the calcium content found in other cereals. It is also rich in phosphorus, potassium and iron. Calcium is of course an important component in maintaining bone density and health.
3. Ragi Controls Diabetes
The rapid rise in the prevalence of diabetes has led to a great demand for foods containing complex carbohydrates with high dietary fiber levels and beneficial phytochemicals. Phytochemicals are a varied group of chemical compounds derived from plants, which are considered to be important factors in our capacity to combat disease.
4. Ragi has Anti-microbial Properties
Finger millet has been found to act against a number of bacteria including?Bacillus cereus, which causes food poisoning,?Salmonella sp., which causes a typhoid-like fever, and?Staphylococcus aureus, one of the primary causes of skin and soft tissue infections such as abscesses, furuncles, and cellulitis.
5. Ragi has Anti-cancer Potential
Finger millet, nachni laddu and ragi laddu is also rich in antioxidants, which have sort of become a byword in health books today. Antioxidants prevent excessive oxidation (how surprising!), which could otherwise cause cancer and ageing because of cell damage.
6. Ragi Keeps you Young
Aside from the phenolic content and antioxidants which are important factors in preventing ageing, finger millet and kodo millet have specifically shown potential in inhibiting cross-linking of collagen. Collagen cross-linking is the process by which cross-links form between or within collagen molecules in tendons, skin, and even blood vessels.
7. Ragi Reduces ?Bad? Cholestrol, Prevents Cardiovascular Disease
Emerging research has shown that finger millet has the potential to reduce risk of cardiovascular diseases. Technically speaking, finger millet reduces concentrations of serum triglycerides and inhibits lipid oxidation and LDL cholesterol oxidation. LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) cholesterol is what is termed "bad" cholesterol and is especially troublesome when oxidized. Oxidized LDL inflames the arteries, leading to arteriosclerosis and the risk of heart attack or strokes.
