This is the traditional Rajasthani and North Indian sequence, not medical advice. After a C-section, or with diabetes or any complication, check ingredients with her doctor first.
Traditionally, the first week is light and warm — harira, ajwain, saunth and haldi. From the second week come gond giri and dana methi laddus, then battisa and panjiri from around day 22. After forty days, lighter everyday laddus like ragi and multigrain continue through the feeding months.
Most families give gond giri laddu from the second week, once the first days of light food are over. After a C-section, check with her doctor first.
Most mothers eat one or two a day with milk or after a meal. A 200 g pack is a good way to see what she likes before buying 500 g or 1 kg.
Every pack is made to order and stays fresh for 6 months sealed. Keep it in a cool, dry place and close the lid after use.
Every ingredient is a common Indian kitchen food and is listed on each product page. They are food, not a supplement or medicine. If she or the baby has an allergy, or she has any medical condition, check the ingredient list with her doctor.
Yes. Cash on delivery is available across India, and shipping is free on orders over ₹999.
In Rajasthani and North Indian homes, the forty days after childbirth — jaapa, or sawa mahina — are when a new mother is fed a fixed sequence of warming foods: harira and ajwain in the first days, saunth and haldi laddu, gond giri laddu, dana methi laddu, then battisa laddu and nari kalyan panjiri toward the end. Maa Mitahara cooks these postpartum laddus to order in our Jaipur kitchen and ships them across India, so a mother can eat what her own family would have made, even when no one is there to cook.
